My friend Dan had his 40th B-day party 2 years ago and he had me DJ. He made it clear that he wanted ALL 80's music the entire night (He even dressed as Michael Jackson ..lol). The turnout was really good and people kept asking him when he's having another 80's party. So ... he finally convinced me to do one with him. So here it is !! To all 80's music lover's ... this is one not to be missed !!!! C.Brasco Mixtape "The Ladies Choice"

... I had the opportunity to meet a new up and coming artist named C. Brasco who has been putting in major work to get his music heard. I give props where they are due .... and talent deserves recognition. Being a DJ, people are always giving me their music to listen to. Unfortunately, the majority of it is not good ....... actually, most of it is WACK !!!!! Everyone wants to be a rapper, singer, DJ, promoter, ..... and the list goes on. But most people don't have the talent for one, and second, they are not willing to work hard to achieve the success they dream about. When I met Brasco, I could tell he was serious about what he was doing ... first impressions go a long way. Then, I gave his demo a listen and I was really impressed. We put a show together so that he could perform some of his tracks and then he asked me if I would be willing to host a mixtape that he was putting together. I was down to do it and we linked up with his sound engineer in Maryland (shout out to Dutchmaster). The CD turned out pretty nice. At first I wasn't feelin it because my "hosting" ended it up being skits we did to fill up the CD ...lol. But all in all ... the project turned out good. Sound Caterers - "A Dynamic Duo"

For all those who know me .... I'm a pretty laid back dude, even when it comes to my DJ style. I'm not one to be yellin on the mic all night long. I let the music do the talkin. With that being said ... when it comes to rockin parties ... the crowd has to "feel the energy" !! So ... that is where this man comes in. I met MC Elixir (Lix) many years ago in Philly through DJ Excel of The Scratch Makaniks Crew. I knew of Lix prior to that as being a Philly MC in the underground Hip Hop scene, however, we never really crossed paths until I linked up with the Skratch Makaniks. Lix was actually part of the crew and had become the "personality behind the skillz" so to speak. Anytime The Skratch Makaniks were rockin a party ... Lix was on the mic ..takin' the party to that next level !! Every year for my B-day ... Excel and Lix did my parties ... and they were always crazy !!! As time went on ... Lix partnered up with me on some parties I was doing, and from there ..... we just kept it moving. So now .... if there's a party to be rocked ... I always have Lix by my side. We even team up on wedding receptions. So together - we our known as the Sound Caterers.
